Chris Shawback

Chris Shawback is a producer and co-host of Murder Metal Mayhem since it started in April of 2018. He was born and raised in central Illinois, surrounded by cornfields. He's been a huge supporter of local bands and spent many nights in the mosh pits at shows. He lives with his girlfriend, Courtney, and has three great kids. He comes from a close-knit family, and his brother, Michael, has been on the podcast many times as a guest.

Chris has always been drawn to true crime, so merging that with his love of heavy metal is the reason he's been there since the podcast started.  He provides many of the funny voices when the guys record their infamous fake commercials. 

All of his friends talk about the many good times hanging at "Shawback Nation" and how everyone is treated like they're part of a family.
